KUMU, the center for quality higher education has opened a total of Ten new Programmes(7 Post Graduate Diplomas and 3 Undergraduate programmes), ready for August intake 2023.

The programmes below are powered by various departments such as: – Education and Languages, Information Technology, Agriculture, Business Studies, Social Sciences and Theology

1. PGDME – Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation. Weekend
2. PGDPPM – Post Graduate Diploma in Project planning and Management.  Weekend
3. PGDFM – Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management.  Weekend
4. PGDPA – Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration.  Weekend
5. PGDEM – Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Management. Weekend
6. PGDIT – Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology. Weekend
7. BCS – Bachelor of Computer Science  Full-Time
8. DCS – Diploma in Computer Science  Full-Time
9. DECED – Diploma in Early Childhood Education Full-Time
10. HEC – Higher Education Certificate  Full-Time

HEC  is a bridging programme that takes care of:-

1. ‘A’ Level leaver who could have attained only one principal pass and yet he/she desires to join the University for a Bachelor Degree
2.  ‘A’ Level leaver who attained only two subsidiaries and yet he/she desires to join the University for a Diploma programme
3. And International Applicants whose Education system is less by one year.

HEC is classified into three categories as below;

1. HEC Arts option-Humanities for those who have done Arts subjects
2. HEC physical sciences option for those who have done sciences like mathematics, physics, chemistry etc.
3. HEC Biology sciences option for those who have done sciences like Biology, chemistry and Agriculture etc.
